Welcome to 12AM Studio.

By accessing our website, purchasing our jewellery or booking an appointment, you agree to the following Terms of Service.

Website Use

All content on this website, including imagery, copy, branding, logos and designs, belongs to 12AM Studio unless otherwise stated.

Content may not be copied, reproduced or distributed without prior written permission.

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not interfere with the operation or security of the website.

Product Availability

All jewellery is subject to availability.

While we make every effort to ensure stock accuracy, availability cannot always be guaranteed.

Should an item become unavailable after your order has been placed, we'll contact you as soon as possible to discuss an alternative, estimated lead time or full refund.

Pricing

Our jewellery is crafted using solid 14kt gold, natural diamonds, lab-grown diamonds, moissanite and carefully selected gemstones.

Because precious metal prices fluctuate globally, prices may change without notice.

Once an order, quotation or appointment has been confirmed and paid for, your quoted price is secured.

All prices displayed are in South African Rand (ZAR).

Orders

Once an order has been placed, you'll receive an order confirmation.

Acceptance of your order is subject to payment authorisation and product availability.

12AM reserves the right to cancel or decline any order where fraud, pricing errors or unforeseen circumstances occur. If payment has already been received, a full refund will be issued.

Custom & Bespoke Pieces

Custom-made, personalised and bespoke jewellery is created specifically for you.

For this reason, these pieces cannot be cancelled, returned or exchanged once production has begun.

Lead times will be communicated before work commences.

Appointments

Appointments are required for all piercing, consultation and curation services.

We ask that clients arrive on time to ensure the best possible experience.

Should you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice.

Missed appointments or late cancellations may result in the booking fee being forfeited.

Piercing Services

All piercings are performed using professional needle techniques and 12AM-approved jewellery.

Clients are responsible for providing accurate medical information where relevant and for following all aftercare guidance provided by 12AM.

Healing times vary between individuals, and while every effort is made to support optimal healing, outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

Failure to follow recommended aftercare may affect the healing process.

Jewellery Care

Our jewellery is designed for everyday wear.

Like all fine jewellery, pieces should be cared for appropriately to preserve their appearance and longevity.

Damage resulting from accidents, misuse, improper handling or failure to follow recommended care instructions is not considered a manufacturing defect.

Repairs & Warranty

All 12AM jewellery is covered by a 90-day manufacturing warranty against defects in workmanship.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear 

  • Accidental damage 

  • Improper use 

  • Lost items 

  • Damage caused by third-party alterations or repairs 

Should your jewellery require assessment, please contact us with your order details and supporting photographs.

Returns & Exchanges

Due to hygiene standards, jewellery used for piercing cannot be returned or exchanged.

Custom and bespoke pieces are final sale.

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery so we can assist.

Credit Notes

Where a credit note is issued and accepted by the customer, it represents the agreed resolution and may be used towards future purchases at 12AM Studio.

Credit notes are non-refundable, cannot be exchanged for cash and are not transferable unless otherwise agreed by 12AM Studio.

Gift Cards

Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Gift cards may be redeemed towards jewellery, piercing appointments and eligible services offered by 12AM Studio.

Limitation of Liability

12AM Studio shall not be held responsible for complications resulting from failure to follow aftercare guidance, undisclosed medical conditions, third-party modifications or misuse of jewellery.

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, our liability is limited to the value of the product or service purchased.

Intellectual Property

All photography, branding, copy, graphics, logos, website design and creative material remain the intellectual property of 12AM Studio.

Unauthorised reproduction or commercial use is prohibited.

Changes to These Terms

12AM Studio reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time.

Any changes will take effect upon publication on this website.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
